Tropical Chic Card

Hello fellow followers!! I’m such a slack blogger.. I live in a fast pace world of just quickly up loading to FB or instagram that I forget about my poor blog! Anyway..

Today I did a random Facebook live.. you will find it on my business page!

We made this card!!! I explained my thought processes… how you can step up the card some more… how I did the inking… please go watch!

These are how I played around with my cards to decide what colours I’d make.. and because I put them on 6×4 sheets of cardstock I can now keep a record for future projects….

If you’d like to purchase any of these items let me know! I do have a hostess code each month with a little freebie! And you can also come along to my monthly card classes too here in Dalby!

I’m always keen for new team members.. so if you are interested in a discount let me know!

Make sure you pop over to my Facebook live and watch the replay!!

Kelly’s Stamping Friends- Birthday Blog Hop 2018

Welcome to Kelly’s Stamping Friends Birthday Blog Hop! I’m so excited to be asked again this year to join in the fun.. Its great that Kelly loves to share her birthday with us all! I really hope that Kelly has had a beautiful day today! I have decided to do another Scrapbook layout. As this year was meant to be for me to catch up with my scrapbooking… and at this stage I think I have done 1 layout!! I have a daughter who is finishing school next year and I’d love to have her albums up to date… I tend to not print out photo’s which is so sad…. Who else is in the same vote? You might be only starting with me.. or you may have joined me from Kathryn Mangelsdorf. Please leave a comment as you hop and continue onto Peta Stephen.

With the new catalogue coming next month I decided to look at what I have in my collection and a lot of our stamps just match perfectly together! I did start out with a totally different base.. but then changed my mind at the last minute today and produced this layout in a very short time… lol

I have used a few stamp sets…. Playful Backgrounds on the background… and also Petal Palette. Beautiful Bouquet, Oh So Eclectic for the flowers, and Bouquet Bunch Framelits, Eclectic Layers thinlits, Petals & More Thinlits for the flowers and leaves… Celebrate You Thinlits for the words and a new stampset Make a Difference to make my words for ‘Make my World’

I love my children and fur baby…. They are my world and the do make it an amazing world to live in.

Stampin’ Up! Onstage Display Stamper 2017 Blog Hop Day 7

Day 7! Last day of our Blog Hop! what an adventure it has been! Its been a great experience to 1. Be an Onstage Display Stamper.. and 2. Join many others around the world share our creations with you all! If you ever get a chance just do it!

Now here is a new stamp set that you will be seeing a lot closer to Easter… Sweet Little Something… Now I didn’t want to reinvent the wheel…. as we already have a very cute bear stamp in our current catalogue.. But I found that this rabbit could be used to create pretty much what you did with the bear… but what makes this bunny stand out more is that it looks just like a photography if stamped right with the right colours! Here I have stamped it with Berry Burst, Blushing Bride… I have stamped off with a layer so I wasn’t adding in another colour! Now onstage they said why not try it with Basic Black and then add some colours… so make sure you keep your eyes peeled ready to see this bunny take the world by storm….

I’d been dying to try an Eclipse Card…. and I thought why not use the Bunny for it…HOP! It looks so good with these blues…… what do you think?

Thanks again for hopping and leaving some love in the comments… make sure you continue on….

See you tomorrow!

Stampin’ Up! Onstage Display Stamper 2017 Blog Hop Day 6

Day 6… As this blog goes live I will be halfway to my holiday destination with my 2 beautiful Children! If only my husband and our beautiful dog could come too… But someone must stay home and watch the house….

Today I share another Scrapbook layout as well as a card…

This layout is simple but I added some of the beautiful flowers from the Perennial Birthday Stamp set.. I have also added some of the beautiful Painted with Love Speciality DSP… these flowers look great heat embossed in Gold .. but I can also see many other great ideas, which Stampin’ Up! have shared in the new catalogue.. Bring on January!

I’ve heat embossed  the flower onto the Vellum and made a shaker card with the Gold Glitter Flakes.. teamed with the Petal Passion DSP and the Night of Navy Corduroy Ribbon, it can make a simple card look fancy! Don’t be afraid to play with vellum!

Thanks again for hopping and leaving some love in the comments… make sure you continue on….

See you tomorrow!

Stampin’ Up! Onstage Display Stamper 2017 Blog Hop Day 5

Day 5… I’m glad you are still with me! Some days I think it is easier to create then to blog lol But I can’t have you all come visit me to see my creation.. But it would be fun!

I did say on Day 1 that I did more Scrapbook layouts then cards… I really feel many forget to record their photo’s… It is so easy to take photo’s these days… All mine are from my phone…  I know my phone has a really great camera…. so why not print them out!

Here I have used the Petal Passion DSP and coloured in a flower with the water color pencils and fussy cut it out.. I’ve also added some Night of Navy Corduroy Ribbon.

Here I have coloured the DSP with Watercolour Pencils again.. but only added a light layer of colour… its the same pencils and colours from the other days… I just didn’t put a heavy layer on. The Happy Birthday Stamp is from a new stamp set called Perennial Birthday… YOU WILL NEED TO ADD THIS SET TO YOUR COLLECTION!!!!! LOVE LOVE IT! I just love the different size fonts……. Again throw some Gold Glitter Flakes at your page and where they land glue them down!! Don’t overthink!!!

Thanks again for hopping and leaving some love in the comments… make sure you continue on….

See you tomorrow!

Stampin’ Up! Onstage Display Stamper 2017 Blog Hop Day 4

Hello Day 4! You Are My Sunshine…… and what better way to make this page stand out is with a Crepe paper handmade flower! Just cut out a circle with some cardstock and add some glue and start adding the ribbon. I finished mine off with a Gold Die cut flower.. I’ve again used the Heart Happiness Stamp.. and Gold embossed the outside along with the words… This stamp set coordinates with a new set of framelits.. so you don’t need to fussy cut like I have! Again the  Painted with Love Speciality DSP is the star of this layout! The Gold Foil adds that touch that just adds more dimension without the bulk or time…

Hearts just pair nicely with this paper…. I stamped and embossed with Gold on Berry Burst cardstock and then cut them out… a very quick card.. perfect for a birthday card!

Thanks again for hoping… Please leave some love and hop on…

See you tomorrow!
